Recently touched up this trail drops off of Rick's Roost and ends at the top of Alpine Meadows. As a descent this trail feels longer than the climb up. Upon reaching the bottom one has the option of continuing along the treacherous Mandatory Suicide into more mellow Mel's Dilemma

Meadow Park Sports Center Parking

 

Access:

Riding up Alpine Way until the end continue up the dirt road. There is a trail map posted at the gate to help you on your way. Continuing up towards Rick's Roost past the two access roads on the left you'll find yourself on an old logging road. After a while climbing this road will bend to the left and come into a flat grassy area, this is where the trail starts.
